Coconut Cacao Bliss Balls

Raw vegan coconut cacao bliss balls. A healthy snack full of energy on the go. These nut-free bites are made with hemp hearts as the base, pure raw cacao, dates and coconut oil.

Ingredients

  • 80 grams / 1/2 cup Hemp Hearts
  • 50 grams / 1/2 cup Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
  • 120 grams / 1/2 cup Dates
  • 2 tablespoons Purecoco Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Purecoco Coconut Oil (Either Extra Virgin or Flavourless)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Powder, optional
  • Tiny pinch Salt
  • Additional Desiccated Coconut, for rolling

 

Instructions

  1. Soak Dates in a bowl to soften for an hour prior to making bliss balls.
  2. Drain Water from Dates.
  3. Place the Hemp Hearts, Shredded Unsweetened Coconut, Dates, Purecoco Cocoa Powder, Purecoco Coconut Oil, Vanilla Powder and Salt into a food processor fitted with the blade attachment. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until a consistent dough forms.
  4. Use your hands to form small balls, about the size of walnuts, and roll them in the extra coconut.
  5. Store in the refrigerator up to one week or in the freezer indefinitely.
